About KWOF

Kalongo Widows and Orphans Foundation – Transforming Lives Through Love and Service

Our Mission

KWOF (Kalongo Widows and Orphans Foundation) is a faith-based, community-driven organization that exists to bring hope, healing, and holistic empowerment to widows and orphans who are often left vulnerable and marginalized. We aim to restore dignity and promote sustainability by creating access to essential resources such as quality education, vocational training, and healthcare services. Through a compassionate and inclusive approach, we seek to elevate lives and break the cycle of poverty in Kalongo and beyond.

Our Vision

Our vision is to nurture a flourishing community where widows and orphans are no longer defined by loss, but by resilience, faith, and opportunity. We envision a future where every child can dream boldly, every widow can live with dignity, and every family is empowered to thrive spiritually, socially, and economically. Through sustainable initiatives and collaborative partnerships, KWOF is building a generation of empowered individuals equipped to lead change in their communities.

What We Do

KWOF operates a variety of community-centered programs. Our child sponsorship program provides school fees, materials, and mentorship to orphans and vulnerable children. We offer vocational skills training in tailoring, farming, computer literacy, and business to enable widows and youth to achieve economic independence. The foundation also supports school infrastructure development, health outreach campaigns, food distribution, and emotional and spiritual counseling services. These efforts work together to create an ecosystem of support and opportunity.
